Windsurfing, surfing, sailing around camping Le Moustoir
Surf in plouharnel
Beaches with nice waves are just a short drive from the campsite (less than 10 minutes). In Plouharnel, Ste Barbe beach and then La Guérite, Mentor and Mané Gwen are good for beginners or people keen on longboarding. A bit further, you will reach the famous wild coast. It offers a nice powerful wave available at low tide only. This wave is made for good surfers only. Height limits on the car park won't allow motorhomes to park there. Have fun!!
Windsurfing and kitesurfing
Depending on the weather forecast, you can ride your favourite board in St Colomban (Carnac), Port An Dro (Carnac), or la plage des Sable Blancs (Plouharnel). You can also go windsurfing in nice waves facing the ocean in Kerhilio (Erdeven), Gâvres or les Palissades (Penthièvre). Once again, you can ride quite close to the campsite (less than 10 minutes). Sailing
SNT in Trinité sur Mer, Yacht Club of Carnac, ENV in Quiberon, you can find many sailing associations in the area. Many events take place in the area as Quiberon's bay is really nice to sail in. Wind's quite regular and sometimes powerful. Water remains most of the time quite flat as it's sheltered by Quiberon's peninsula.
